WELL I have finally sat down and written a new song. Was not sure I had it in me, but sometimes you just have to take the time and try. Writing seems to come when I am passionate about something and what better time than now 🤔

Of course I also had to relearn the recording software, which took a good week, but so happy to be able to do my own recording. So I recorded my vocal, Kens guitar and my guitar. I sent it on to Jim Henry to do the final mixing, and he also added guitar track, and bass and Tracy Grammar did the background vocals and violin. Please enjoy…..

As a pacifist, I oppose gun violence, all wars and nuclear weapons. I have been appalled by the explosion of gun violence recently in the US. Most recently the shooting of neighbours, and people pulling up to the wrong address. The countless ways one can use weapons to kill people, and still… it is legal for almost everyone to own a gun.
Also as a pacifist I oppose all wars, refuse to cheer on one side vs the other. I believe that those who benefit financially in war have far too much say in whether or not to negotiate, or not. Hearing a recent talk on behalf of Danial Ellsberg, I was horrified how clear it is to all, how one nuclear attack and one retaliation will totally destroy all of our lives, and how well this is understood, and for how long this has been understood. But yet we are still advancing nuclear weapons all the time.
